Southern Maryland Eliminators

 Welcome to the SOMD Eliminators Indoor Registration

for age groups U10 thru U19.

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available.  Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from SOMD Eliminators FH.

Registration Fees:

U10 and U12

• Till Sept 15: $500 (plus processing fee) 
• Sept 16 or later: $550 (plus processing fee)

U14, U16, and U19

• Till Sept 15: $550 (plus processing fee) 
• Sept 16 or later: $600 (plus processing fee)
• $100 due at time of registration.  

U14/U16/U19 Goalkeepers: $75 rental fee for gear.

Practice Player Fee

• The practice player fee is $225. 

• We do offer payment plans, sibling discounts and scholarships to those in need.
• Please note, based on space we have a limited number of practice player spots.  Coaches will determine who is offered a practice player spot.   Your account would later be refunded or adjusted to reflect the $225 due for a practice player.
•  If your player does not make a tournament team and the practice player option is not utilized, a full refund (minus $25) will be issued. 
• Practice - Two days a week- 1 weekday and Saturdays (some Sundays based on facility availability)
• Each travel team will play in 4 tournament events.

Registration Fee Includes the cost for the National Indoor Qualifiers  & Tournament***

U10: Players born after July 31, 2014, are eligible.

U12: Players born after July 31, 2012, are eligible.

U14: Players born after July 31, 2010, are eligible

U16: Players born after July 31, 2008, are eligible.

U19: Players born after July 31, 2006, are eligible.

Club Team Pre-Season Evaluation Dates at St. Mary's College
Sunday September 22nd:  
U14- 11:00-12:30
U16- 12:15-2:00
U19- 1:30-3:00

Sunday September 29th:  
U14- 11:00-12:30
U16- 12:15-2:00
U19- 1:30-3:00

U10 & U12 Evaluations

• Players are evaluated during the Rec League first, in order to have the opportunity to compete for a spot as tournament or practice player.   
• Players will then be evaluated during the first 2-3 weeks of practice to determine tournament team rosters and practice player selection.   
• Not all who sign up will be approved to participate, as space is limited. 
• If you have a question about your player's ability OR your player did not participate in the SOMD Eliminators Rec League, please feel free to email us to discuss at eliminatorsfh@gmail.com
• Those not quite ready to compete at the travel level will have the opportunity to participate in our clinics (in December; registration to open in November).

USA Field Hockey Membership

• All Eliminator Club members must be a CURRENT member of USA Field Hockey. 
• To purchase a new membership or renew your current membership, go to:  USA FH Membership
• Your membership needs to be current through March 2025.  You can renew early and the date will extend 12 months from the current expiration date.

Completing this registration does NOT guarantee placement on any team as tournament team or practice player. 

Practice and Tournament Schedules are TBD at this time.

Please Note

• Saturday practice times will change slightly week to week as they vary depending on facility availability.
• In January & February, we will have some Sunday practices.
• In January & February, Leonard Hall is not available on Mondays, so practices may shift during the season.
